Need help accessing a MSAccess database with a script running in Eclipse on a citrix client.

I would like my script to dump data to a MS Access file. The script is running via Eclipse through a Citrix server. I have set up the database connection via the wizard in Visual Studio. I get the error "The "Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0" provider is not registered on the local machine" whenever I invoke the function that tries to dump data into the database file. I get the same error when running Eclipse from our FAT client. Does anyone have any hints on how to get over this hill?

Thanks for any help,
Andrew

I had the same problem with Eclipse on Windows.

Try to use configuration:
1) The old version of the Access database format [* .mdb]
2) Provider in the connection string: "Provider = Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0"

I will give this a shot and will reply as to whether it works or not.
Thanks!

I did as suggested and got an error similar to what it was with the 12.0: The 'Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0' provider is not registered on the local machine. Dang! Thanks though!
