I added a script that helps check a plan for potential collisions between the gantry, couch, or patient surface. It is posted on GitHub here.

It can be ran from Visual Studio if the CollisionCheck.Runner is set as a startup project.

There isn't a collision detection method in Helix Toolkit that I know of, but one could be added. It is also not optimized for RapidArc plans (it creates two cylinders per control point), but it could be by combining them into a single surface.
